The Challenge
Restaurant Level needed a complete audio and lighting system that could transform the space from an elegant daytime dining venue to an energetic nighttime entertainment destination — supporting everything from background music to live bands, cabaret shows, and DJ sets.
Our Solution
We designed a dual-purpose installation combining Bose Professional audio with Chauvet lighting: pendant and in-ceiling speakers for immersive sound, 8 moving heads for dramatic event lighting, and custom programming for seamless day-to-night transitions.
The Challenge
Restaurant Level, located inside the Joker Split complex, is a premium venue that needed to be two things at once:
- Daytime: An elegant restaurant with smooth background music and refined ambiance
- Nighttime: A vibrant entertainment space hosting live bands, cabaret shows, and DJ sets
The system needed to transition seamlessly between these two modes, with sophisticated lighting that could match the energy of each event type.
We collaborated closely with the restaurant’s team and their interior designer to ensure every component complemented the venue’s golden fixtures, marble countertops, and wood-paneled walls.
Our Solution
Audio System
We selected Bose Professional for audio, choosing speaker types that provide immersive coverage while blending with the interior:
- Bose Pendant speakers — suspended from the ceiling for even distribution across the dining area
- Bose in-ceiling speakers — flush-mounted for areas where pendant speakers wouldn’t fit the design
- 2× Bose Pro PowershareX amplifiers — powering the full system with intelligent power allocation
The audio system was designed for dual-mode operation:
- Day mode — smooth, conversation-friendly background music at controlled levels
- Night mode — full-powered output for DJ sets, live performances, and high-energy events
Lighting System
For visual impact, we installed a Chauvet professional lighting system:
- 8× Chauvet moving heads — fully programmable for dynamic lighting effects
- Custom-programmed scenes for different event types:
- Dining — warm, subtle ambiance
- Live bands — focused stage lighting
- Cabaret shows — dramatic spotlights and movement
- DJ nights — full dynamic effects synchronized to music
DJ Integration
A Pioneer DJ controller station was integrated into the venue design, allowing resident and guest DJs to perform without any additional setup or rental equipment.

The Result
Restaurant Level now operates as one of Split’s most versatile venues. During the day, guests enjoy a refined dining experience with background music they barely notice — it simply feels right. By night, the same space transforms into a high-energy entertainment destination.
The custom-programmed lighting and dual-mode audio mean the transition happens with a single switch. Staff don’t need technical knowledge — they just select the mode, and the system handles the rest.
The built-in Pioneer DJ setup means the venue is always event-ready, with no rental equipment or setup time needed for DJ nights.
