The Challenge
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Split needed a powerful, waterproof audio system for the pool and bar area — capable of both relaxed background music and high-energy DJ events throughout the summer season.
Our Solution
We designed a 2-zone Bose Professional system with PowerMatch amplifiers, ArenaMatchUtility speakers for the pool bar, FreeSpace 360 II for the daybed area, and Meridian Chapters streamers for automated background music.
The Challenge
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Split wanted to transform their outdoor pool and bar area into a premium summer lounging destination. The system had to handle two very different modes:
- Background music for relaxed daytime lounging — automated, staff-friendly, always-on
- DJ events for energetic pool parties — powerful, punchy, event-ready
Additionally, the entire installation needed to be waterproof and permanent, surviving Croatian coastal weather year-round.
Our Solution
2-Zone Audio Design
We designed the system around two distinct listening zones, each with different acoustic requirements:
Zone 1: Pool Bar Area (Main)
- Bose ArenaMatchUtility AMU208 speakers — powerful, weather-resistant, designed for large outdoor coverage
- Bose MB210 subwoofer — deep bass for DJ events and pool party energy
- DJ setup capability at 2 opposite corners of the pool, configurable based on the event layout
Zone 2: Daybed Area (Secondary)
- Bose FreeSpace 360 II speakers — omnidirectional, discreet, ideal for background listening
- Gentler output designed for relaxation rather than energy
Amplification
- 2× Bose Pro PowerMatch amplifiers — driving both zones with headroom to spare, ensuring clean output even at high volumes
Automated Background Music
- Meridian Chapters streamers — programmed with automated opening and closing hours
- Curated playlists for different moods: Chillout, Party, and Pool events
- Staff can switch modes without touching any technical controls

The Radisson Blu pool area now transitions effortlessly between a serene morning lounging space and an energetic summer party venue — all through the same permanent system.
The Meridian Chapters automation means the music starts and stops with the venue’s schedule, and staff never need to worry about forgetting to turn it on or off. For DJ events, the PowerMatch amplifiers and AMU208 speakers deliver the power and clarity that a resort-grade pool party demands.
