The Challenge
Bokamorra is one of Split's most iconic waterfront venues — a restaurant, cocktail bar, and late-night destination in one. The space transitions from relaxed afternoon dining to energetic evening entertainment, and the sound needs to match every phase. They needed a partner who could programme the right DJs, manage the music identity, and ensure the audio quality matched the venue's premium positioning.
Our Solution
We built a long-term residency model for Bokamorra. Our DJs rotate on a weekly schedule, each briefed on the venue's musical identity — from chilled afternoon sets that complement the dining experience to higher-energy evening sessions that fill the terrace. We also advise on the sound system setup to ensure consistent, even coverage across the indoor and outdoor zones without disturbing the neighbouring waterfront.
The Venue
Bokamorra sits on Split’s Riva waterfront — one of the city’s most visible and competitive hospitality locations. The venue operates across multiple moods: leisurely afternoon dining, after-work cocktails, and late-night entertainment. Each phase demands different music, different energy, and different volume.
Our Approach
Rather than treating each night as a standalone booking, we manage Bokamorra’s entire music programme as a residency. This means:
Curated DJ Roster Not every DJ fits every venue. We maintain a curated roster for Bokamorra — DJs who understand the venue’s clientele, know the space’s acoustic characteristics, and can read the room across the evening transition.
Music Identity Bokamorra has a sound. It’s not generic “background music” — it’s a curated identity that regular guests recognise and new guests notice. We developed this identity in close collaboration with the venue’s management and maintain it across all our DJs.
Seasonal Adaptation Summer and winter at Bokamorra are different experiences. In summer, the terrace is the main stage and daytime sessions run longer. In winter, the focus shifts indoors with a more intimate atmosphere. Our programming adapts accordingly.
Beyond Music
Our relationship with Bokamorra extends beyond DJ bookings. We’ve consulted on their sound system setup, created content for their social media channels, and provided production support for special events and private bookings.
