The Challenge
Bar Sistema expanded their space but the old sound system couldn't keep up — running at 100% capacity yet still lacking clarity and volume on busy nights.
Our Solution
We designed and installed a K-Gear professional audio system with a hidden subwoofer and strategically placed speakers, powered by a single GA41 amplifier connected to a tablet for easy Spotify playlist control.
The Challenge
Bar Sistema is a unique and cozy mixology bar in Split that had recently expanded its physical space. The expansion highlighted a critical problem: their existing sound system was no longer adequate.
The old system was running at 100% capacity yet still couldn’t deliver:
- Insufficient volume during busy nights when the bar was full
- Poor clarity — the sound was muddy and lacked definition
- No headroom — the system had nothing left to give
- Limited coverage — the expanded space had audio dead zones
Bar Sistema needed a new system that could provide clear, powerful sound throughout both the original and expanded areas.

Equipment Selection
We chose the K-Gear professional audio system for its compact size, powerful output, and clean sound — perfect for a bar environment where speakers need to blend with the interior.
Installation Layout
We installed the system in a single-zone configuration optimized for full coverage:
Main Bar Area:
- 4× K-Gear GH 4 loudspeakers — mounted at key positions for even coverage
- 1× K-Gear XGS 12” subwoofer — hidden under a seating bench for discreet but powerful bass
Secondary Area:
- 2× K-Gear GH 4 loudspeakers — extending coverage into the expanded space
System Core:
- 1× K-Gear GA41 amplifier — powering the entire system
- Tablet connection for Spotify playlist playback
Simple Daily Operation
The system connects to a tablet running Spotify, giving staff instant control over the music selection. Curated playlists for Chillout, Party, and background listening make it easy to match the mood to the moment.
