Battery-Powered Wedding Sound

Many of Hvar's most beautiful wedding locations have no power outlets. Cliffside ceremonies, garden villas, and boat-access coves need equipment that works without mains electricity. We've built our island wedding kit around this reality.

  • Bose S1 Pro+ battery speakers — 11 hours of wireless ceremony audio, crystal-clear vows without a single cable
  • Battery-powered DJ controllers — laptop + controller setup that runs on battery for cocktail hour and sunset sessions
  • Silent generator coordination — for full PA and lighting at the reception, positioned away from guests and acoustically shielded
  • Waterproof flight cases — all equipment travels in marine-grade cases for boat transfers to Palmizana and remote coves

Why You Need Island Wedding Specialists

A mainland wedding production company showing up on Hvar without island experience is a recipe for stress. We've been doing island events for 7+ years and know every logistical challenge before it happens.

Ferry Contingency

Day-before arrival means cancelled ferries never affect your wedding. Equipment and crew are already on the island.

Power Planning

We assess every venue's electrical capacity and bring the right combination of battery, generator, and mains solutions.

Redundant Equipment

Backup speakers, cables, and power supplies travel with every island setup. No running to a warehouse mid-wedding.

Hvar Wedding FAQ

How do you handle power at outdoor Hvar venues?

Many Hvar wedding venues — especially villas, beaches, and island locations — have limited or no power infrastructure. We solve this with battery-powered Bose S1 Pro+ systems for ceremonies, and coordinate silent generators for receptions. We assess every venue's power situation during our site visit and plan accordingly.

What about ferry logistics for equipment?

We take the vehicle ferry from Split to Stari Grad (2 hours) or the catamaran to Hvar Town (1 hour for crew, equipment via car ferry). For weddings, our standard protocol is day-before arrival: equipment and crew travel the afternoon before, set up on the morning of your wedding, and stay through strike. This eliminates any risk from ferry cancellations due to weather.

Can you do a wedding at Palmizana / Pakleni Islands?

Yes, and Palmizana weddings are one of our specialities. Equipment travels by ferry to Hvar, then by boat to Palmizana. We use waterproof flight cases and battery-powered systems for the ceremony, with a generator for the evening reception. We recommend a full-day setup window for Palmizana events.

What happens if the weather turns bad on the day?

Island weddings need a weather backup plan. We always discuss Plan B locations with your planner. Our equipment is designed for quick repositioning — battery speakers can move in minutes. For ferry-dependent logistics, our day-before arrival protocol means we're already on the island regardless of weather changes.

What is the island logistics surcharge?

Hvar weddings include an island logistics fee of EUR 300–600 depending on venue accessibility. This covers ferry transport, day-before crew accommodation, and equipment handling. Remote locations like Palmizana or Majerovica are at the higher end due to boat transfers. The surcharge is included in the pricing ranges shown above.

When is the best season for a Hvar wedding?

Peak season is June through September, with July and August being the busiest and warmest. Many couples choose late June or early September for slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds while still having perfect weather. Ferry schedules are most frequent from May through October.
