The Prestige Production System is built around Pioneer’s current flagship decks and mixer, paired with Bose F1 Flexible Array speakers that allow on-the-fly coverage pattern adjustment — from a tight 40-degree beam for long terraces to a wide 100-degree spread for open courtyards. This is the set we deploy for premium Croatian destination weddings and large-format events up to 500 guests where the DJ demands the latest technology and the audio system needs to adapt to challenging venue acoustics. We carry 2 units of the CDJ 3000 and the DJM-A9 mixer in our inventory at all times. The CDJ 3000 represents a generational leap in workflow, with a 9-inch HD touchscreen, MPE touch strip for expressive performance, and 96 kHz/32-bit audio processing that delivers studio-grade output. For wedding planners coordinating premium events at Croatian palazzo venues, fortress courtyards, or Adriatic beach clubs, this set matches the calibre of the venue with a technical standard that satisfies even the most discerning touring DJs.

What’s Included

  • 2x Pioneer CDJ 3000 — flagship media player with 9-inch HD touchscreen, MPE touch strip, 96 kHz/32-bit audio processing, and Pro DJ Link
  • Pioneer DJM-A9 — professional 4-channel mixer with 64-bit mixing, Smooth Echo, and dual USB-C sound cards
  • 2x Bose F1 Model 812 — flexible array speakers with adjustable coverage patterns (C, J, Reverse J, Straight), 1000W peak per unit
  • DJ table — sturdy folding table at 90 cm height
  • All XLR cables, power distribution, and speaker stands

The Complete System Explained

The signal chain begins at the two Pioneer CDJ 3000 decks. Each CDJ 3000 is a standalone media player with its own high-resolution 9-inch touchscreen, jog wheel, and performance controls. Music is loaded via USB stick, and when both decks are connected via Ethernet (included), Pro DJ Link enables library sharing and beat-sync information to pass between them. The CDJ 3000 processes audio at 96 kHz/32-bit — a step above the 48 kHz processing of the previous CDJ 2000 NXS2 generation — resulting in audibly cleaner high-frequency detail and smoother transitions.

Both decks feed into the Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer, the current flagship of Pioneer’s mixer line. The DJM-A9 provides four input channels, 64-bit digital summing, Smooth Echo (a new effect that adds musical reverb tails when cutting tracks), and dual USB-C sound cards for recording or connecting to DJ software. The mixer’s Send/Return effects loop allows the DJ to route audio through external processors, though the onboard effects suite is comprehensive enough for most applications.

The master output from the DJM-A9 feeds via balanced XLR into the two Bose F1 Model 812 speakers. The defining feature of the F1 is its physically adjustable array: 12 articulated drivers can be configured into four distinct patterns — C (wide 100-degree spread), J (focused with downward fill), Reverse J (focused with upward projection), and Straight (tight 40-degree beam). This adjustability means the speakers adapt to the venue rather than the other way around. A wide courtyard calls for the C pattern, a long narrow terrace for the Straight pattern, and a covered area with a raised stage for the J pattern with downward projection.

Each F1 Model 812 produces 1,000W peak output and includes an integrated bass module. The pair delivers full-range sound sufficient for up to 500 guests when supplemented by room or venue acoustics. For events where deeper sub-bass is required, an external subwoofer can be added.

Ideal For

  • Premium destination wedding receptions for 200-500 guests at palazzo and estate venues
  • Large beach club events and sunset parties along the Adriatic coast
  • Corporate galas, brand launches, and conference after-parties
  • Festival-scale private celebrations on island venues
  • Headline DJs requiring rider-spec flagship equipment

How It Works

We deliver, install, and sound-check the complete system at your venue. Setup takes approximately 40 minutes. The two Bose F1 arrays are positioned and their coverage pattern set to match your space — we test this during sound-check. The DJ booth (table, 2x CDJ 3000, DJM-A9) requires a flat area of roughly 2.0 m x 0.7 m. You need 230V/50Hz mains power — we bring a power distribution board and 20-metre cables, so a single 16A circuit within reasonable distance is all that is required. For island venues, we coordinate ferry schedules and arrive with buffer time.

Sound Coverage and Venue Matching

The Bose F1 Model 812’s adjustable coverage pattern makes this set uniquely versatile across different venue layouts. Unlike fixed-pattern speakers where placement determines coverage, the F1 allows physical reconfiguration to match the space.

Wide open spaces (courtyards, beach areas, villa gardens): Set both F1 speakers to the C pattern (100-degree spread), positioned 10-15 metres apart flanking the event area. This covers approximately 300-400 square metres at dance-floor volume for up to 400 guests in open air.

Long narrow terraces: Set the F1 speakers to Straight pattern (40-degree beam) and position them at one end of the terrace, projecting sound along its length. This is effective for the elongated terraces common at Croatian coastal restaurants and cliffside venues, covering up to 30 metres of depth.

Indoor halls and fortress rooms: The J pattern provides focused forward projection with a downward fill, ideal for audiences below the speaker position. In stone-walled venues (common throughout Dalmatia and Istria), this controlled pattern reduces excessive reverberation.

Guest count guidance: 200-400 guests is the comfort zone for this set in open air. At 400-500 guests, the system delivers but benefits from adding an RCF SUB 8003 subwoofer for additional low-end impact on the dance floor. Above 500 guests, the Estate & Amphitheater System with RCF 15-inch tops and dedicated sub is the appropriate choice.

Setup Timeline

  • Minute 0-8: Unload equipment and position the DJ table. Unpack the two Bose F1 Model 812 speakers from their cases.
  • Minute 8-18: Mount the two CDJ 3000 decks and DJM-A9 mixer on the DJ table. Connect audio cables (CDJ to mixer) and Ethernet cables (for Pro DJ Link). Position the F1 speakers at their planned locations and set the array pattern to match the venue.
  • Minute 18-28: Run XLR cables from the mixer to each F1 speaker. Connect all power cables to the 230V outlets or distribution board.
  • Minute 28-40: Power on the system. Sound-check procedure: play a reference track at moderate volume, walk the venue to evaluate coverage, adjust the F1 array pattern or reposition if needed, and set gain levels. Test a microphone input if one is included for speeches. System is live.

For island deliveries, we add ferry transit time and arrive with a minimum 2-hour buffer. During peak season, vehicle ferry bookings on routes such as Split-to-Hvar and Dubrovnik-to-Korčula are secured in advance. The Bose F1 speakers transport in padded cases designed for road and ferry use.

How This Set Compares

The Prestige Production System sits between the Grand Celebration System at 560 EUR and the Estate & Amphitheater System at 1,200 EUR. The Standard set uses CDJ 2000 NXS2 decks (previous generation) with a DJM 900 NXS2 mixer and Bose L1 Pro 16 line arrays, covering up to 300 guests. It is the right choice when the DJ is comfortable with the NXS2 platform and the event does not exceed 300 guests.

The Premium set expands to four CDJ 3000 decks, a 6-channel DJM-V10 mixer, RCF 935-A 15-inch tops, and an RCF SUB 8003 subwoofer. It is designed for events exceeding 500 guests and scenarios where the DJ requires a 4-deck workflow or the venue demands a PA system with full sub-bass extension.

Choose the Pro set when your guest count is 200-500, your DJ wants the latest CDJ 3000 workflow, and you need a speaker system that adapts to your venue’s acoustics. The adjustable Bose F1 arrays are the key differentiator — no other set in our range offers physical coverage pattern adjustment.

Croatian Event Planning Guide

Peak season considerations: June through September accounts for the majority of Pro set deployments. Large destination weddings at Croatian estate venues, palazzo courtyards, and beach clubs are the primary use case. Summer temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius require shade for the CDJ 3000 decks — direct sun on the 9-inch touchscreens reduces visibility and can cause the units to throttle performance. We always recommend a canopy, pergola, or structure over the DJ booth.

Bura wind contingency: For events at exposed coastal venues — particularly along the Makarska Riviera, around Split, or on the Pelješac peninsula — the Bura wind is a planning factor. The F1 speakers are lower-profile than the Bose L1 line arrays, which gives them better wind stability. We provide weighted bases and secure straps for exposed positions. In forecast Bura conditions exceeding 60 km/h, we work with your venue coordinator to identify sheltered positions or activate an indoor backup plan.

Island logistics: The Pro set fits in a single vehicle for ferry transport. We coordinate ferry bookings for all major Dalmatian islands. For Vis and remote islands, where ferry frequency is lower, we plan arrivals a day in advance when possible, storing equipment securely at the venue or a local partner facility overnight. This ensures zero risk of ferry delays affecting your event.

Noise regulations: At 500 guests, the Pro set is capable of SPL levels that may exceed local noise limits, particularly after 23:00. We work with your venue to understand the applicable regulations and, where necessary, configure a volume limiter on the DJM-A9 output. Some premium Croatian venues have their own SPL monitoring systems — we integrate with these during sound-check.

Power and generator planning: Total system draw is approximately 1,800W. While this fits within a single 16A circuit (3,680W capacity), we recommend a dedicated circuit that does not share load with catering equipment or venue lighting. For venues with limited electrical infrastructure, we can specify a suitable generator — a 3 kVA unit is sufficient for this set alone.

Commonly Asked

Do I need a technician for the Prestige Production System?

We recommend a technician for events over 300 guests or venues with complex acoustics (stone courtyards, amphitheatres). For straightforward single-zone setups, a professional DJ can self-operate. We provide sound-check before the event and WhatsApp support throughout.

Can this set work outdoors in Croatia?

Yes. The Bose F1 arrays are engineered for outdoor events, and their adjustable coverage pattern lets us compensate for open-air sound dissipation. We regularly deploy this set at exposed Adriatic coastal venues. Keep the CDJ 3000 decks and mixer under shade — direct sun on the touchscreens reduces visibility.

What are the power requirements for this set?

Standard 230V/50Hz Croatian mains power. Total draw is approximately 1800W. One 16A dedicated circuit is sufficient. We include a power distribution board and all necessary cabling.

How far in advance should I book the Prestige Production System?

We recommend booking 6-8 weeks ahead during peak season (June through September). We carry limited CDJ 3000 and DJM-A9 inventory, and these flagship units are in high demand for premium weddings. Off-season bookings can typically be confirmed within 2-3 weeks.

Can I customise the speaker or DJ equipment in this set?

Yes. If you prefer the Bose L1 Pro 16 line arrays (from the Standard set) over the F1, or want to add an RCF subwoofer for more bass, we can build a custom configuration. The CDJ 3000 and DJM-A9 can also be paired with speakers from our speaker sets range for a tailored solution.

What happens if equipment fails during the event?

All components undergo pre-delivery testing. In the event of a failure, our WhatsApp support line provides immediate assistance. The DJM-A9 has multiple inputs, allowing a phone or laptop to serve as a backup audio source. The CDJ 3000 decks are independent — if one fails, the DJ continues mixing on the remaining deck. For mainland events, we can dispatch replacement equipment within 60-90 minutes.

Does island delivery cost extra?

Delivery to major Dalmatian islands (Hvar, Brač, Korčula, Vis, Šolta, Mljet) is included in the rental price. Remote islands requiring additional connections carry a surcharge. For the Pro set, we occasionally arrange day-before delivery to island venues during peak season to eliminate ferry timing risk, which may carry a small additional charge for overnight storage logistics.

Can this system operate on a playlist without a DJ?

Technically, yes — the CDJ 3000 supports continuous USB playback, and the F1 speakers accept direct input via aux or Bluetooth. However, at this investment level and guest count, we strongly recommend a professional DJ. Managing audio levels, speech transitions, microphone handling, and dance-floor energy for 200-500 guests requires a skilled operator.
