Dubrovnik’s fortress walls. Hvar’s amphitheatre terraces. A private estate carved into Istrian hillside. Some venues demand a system that matches their scale — not just in volume, but in presence. The Estate & Amphitheater System is the largest and most powerful DJ configuration we offer. It centres on a 4-deck Pioneer CDJ 3000 setup with the 6-channel DJM-V10 mixer — the same combination found in world-class clubs — paired with RCF 935-A 15-inch active tops and an RCF SUB 8003 subwoofer that together deliver 136 dB and 5,600W peak output.
Experience Profile
- Guest Count: 500+
- Setting: Fortress courtyards, amphitheatres, large estate properties, festival-scale celebrations, beachfront concert stages
- Atmosphere: Architectural-scale — sound that fills monumental spaces with studio-grade fidelity
- Why This System: When the venue itself is the statement and the audio must match. Four-deck capability for advanced DJ performance, RCF touring-grade power for spaces where Bose line arrays reach their limits. The system we deploy at Croatia’s most iconic venues. We built this set for events exceeding 500 guests: large-format destination weddings, festival-scale private parties, and corporate productions where the audio system must fill expansive outdoor spaces along the Croatian coast without compromise. From fortress courtyards in Dubrovnik to amphitheatre venues on Hvar, this system has the headroom and clarity to drive a dance floor that matches the scale of the occasion. The 4-deck layout enables advanced DJ techniques — layering loops, acapellas, and effects across four independent channels — while the RCF PA delivers full-range sound with physical sub-bass presence that the Bose line array systems in our smaller sets cannot replicate.

The Complete System Explained
The Premium set represents the full professional signal chain, from source to amplification. The four Pioneer CDJ 3000 decks are connected via Ethernet into a Pro DJ Link network, allowing all four units to share music libraries from a single USB stick and synchronise tempo information. Each deck operates independently with its own 9-inch HD touchscreen, jog wheel, and MPE (Multi-Pressure Expression) touch strip, which allows the DJ to manipulate effects by varying finger pressure — a performance feature unique to the CDJ 3000.
All four decks feed into the Pioneer DJM-V10, a 6-channel mixer with 4-band compressor EQ on every channel, a Send/Return effects loop with two independent FX buses, and 96 kHz/64-bit audio processing. Two channels remain available for additional inputs such as a microphone for speeches or a laptop.
From the DJM-V10, the balanced XLR master signal routes to the two RCF 935-A tops and the RCF SUB 8003 subwoofer. The 935-A speakers each contain a 15-inch neodymium woofer and a 1.75-inch compression driver, powered by a 2,100W peak Class D amplifier with RCF’s proprietary FiRPHASE processing. FiRPHASE applies a finite impulse response filter that ensures phase coherence across the entire frequency range, resulting in a precise, undistorted sound image even at peak output. The SUB 8003 extends low-frequency response down to 30 Hz with 2,200W peak power, providing the physical bass impact that defines a dance floor. When positioned in cardioid configuration (available with a second sub as an upgrade), bass energy is directed toward the dance floor and reduced behind, which helps manage noise in the direction of neighbouring properties.
The DJ Blacktable brings all four CDJs and the mixer together in a single, visually clean booth with integrated cable management. It presents a professional stage presence that matches the calibre of the equipment.
Ideal For
- Large destination weddings exceeding 500 guests at estate, fortress, or amphitheatre venues
- Festival-scale private parties and multi-day celebration events
- Corporate brand launches, award ceremonies, and conference closing parties
- VIP beach club takeovers along the Adriatic
- Headline DJ performances requiring rider-spec 4-deck setups with full-range PA
Not Ideal For
- Events under 300 guests — the Prestige Production System with 2x CDJ 3000 and Bose F1 arrays is more proportionate
- Budget-conscious weddings around 150 guests — the Grand Celebration System delivers a professional club setup at a significantly lower price
- Battery-powered or off-grid locations — this system requires substantial mains power; see the Coastal Ceremony System for zero-power venues
How It Works
We deliver, install, sound-check, and (recommended) provide an on-site technician for the duration. Setup takes approximately 60 minutes. The DJ Blacktable accommodates all 4 CDJs and the mixer in a single booth footprint of roughly 3.0 m x 0.8 m. The RCF tops are placed on stands flanking the dance floor, with the subwoofer positioned centrally or offset depending on venue acoustics. You need 230V/50Hz mains power with a minimum of two dedicated 16A circuits. We bring power distribution boards, 30-metre cable runs, and protective weatherproof covers. For island venues, we coordinate ferry logistics and arrive with a minimum 2-hour setup buffer.
Sound Coverage and Venue Matching
The RCF 935-A tops and SUB 8003 subwoofer combine to deliver 136 dB max SPL with full-range frequency response from 30 Hz to 20 kHz. This is a concert-grade PA system in a portable format, and it covers venues that smaller sets in our range cannot reach.
Large outdoor spaces (fortress courtyards, beach stages, amphitheatres): A pair of RCF 935-A speakers on stands covers approximately 400-600 square metres at sustained dance-floor volume. The subwoofer adds physical bass energy that carries across the space. For very large open areas (such as the courtyard of a Croatian fortress), we position the speakers at the front of the dance floor and angle them outward at 30-45 degrees to maximise coverage.
Indoor halls and large function rooms: In enclosed spaces, the RCF system fills a room of up to 500 square metres with ease. FiRPHASE processing compensates for room reflections, maintaining clarity even in reverberant stone-walled venues. The subwoofer output may need to be reduced in enclosed spaces to prevent overwhelming low-frequency buildup.
Guest count guidance: 400-600 guests is the primary operating range. For events with 600+ guests in a single open-air space, adding a second pair of RCF 935-A tops as delay speakers extends coverage to the rear of the audience. Adding a second RCF SUB 8003 enables cardioid subwoofer deployment, which focuses bass energy toward the audience and reduces it behind — a practical benefit when neighbours or noise-sensitive areas are located behind the stage.
Dance floor sizing: For 500+ guests, a typical active dance floor hosts 100-200 people at any time. The RCF system delivers consistent energy across a dance floor of up to 150 square metres.
Setup Timeline
- Minute 0-10: Unload equipment from the vehicle. Assemble the DJ Blacktable at the designated DJ position. Unpack the RCF speakers and subwoofer from their flight cases.
- Minute 10-25: Mount the four CDJ 3000 decks and the DJM-V10 mixer into the Blacktable. Connect all audio and Ethernet cables between the CDJs and the mixer. Position the RCF 935-A tops on heavy-duty stands at their planned locations.
- Minute 25-40: Position the subwoofer. Run XLR cables from the mixer to each speaker and the subwoofer. Connect power cables to the distribution boards and 230V circuits.
- Minute 40-60: Power on the system. Full sound check: test each CDJ deck independently, verify Pro DJ Link networking, play reference tracks at moderate and high volume, walk the venue to evaluate coverage and sub-bass impact, adjust speaker positions and DSP settings. Test the microphone channel if applicable. System is live.
For island events, we arrive a day early when the venue permits, or on the first ferry with a minimum 3-hour buffer. Vehicle ferry bookings on routes like Split-to-Hvar are confirmed weeks in advance. For venues with restricted vehicle access, hand-carry logistics add approximately 30 minutes to setup.
How This Set Compares
The Estate & Amphitheater System is the top of our DJ set range. One tier below, the Prestige Production System at 950 EUR uses two CDJ 3000 decks with a DJM-A9 mixer and Bose F1 Flexible Array speakers. The Pro set covers up to 500 guests and offers adjustable speaker coverage patterns — it is the right choice when a 2-deck setup meets the DJ’s needs and the event does not require dedicated sub-bass reinforcement.
The Premium set adds two additional CDJ 3000 decks (enabling 4-deck mixing), upgrades the mixer to the 6-channel DJM-V10, and replaces the Bose F1 speakers with the substantially more powerful RCF 935-A tops and SUB 8003 subwoofer. This jump in capability is meaningful: the RCF PA system produces 5,600W peak compared to 2,000W from the Bose F1 pair, and the subwoofer extends response to 30 Hz versus the F1’s integrated bass module reaching approximately 40 Hz.
Choose the Premium set when your event exceeds 500 guests, when the DJ specifically requests a 4-deck rider, or when the venue is large enough that dedicated sub-bass reinforcement is necessary for the dance floor to have physical impact.
Croatian Event Planning Guide
Peak season and large events: The Premium set is booked primarily for July and August events at Croatia’s largest venues: fortress courtyards (Lovrijenac in Dubrovnik, Fortress George on Vis), estate venues in Istria and Dalmatia, and beachfront venues along the Makarska Riviera. We recommend finalising your equipment booking at the same time as your venue contract, as peak-season availability is limited.
Bura wind and weather: The RCF 935-A speakers on heavy-duty stands are more stable than lighter Bose columns — each cabinet weighs over 20 kg — but in sustained gusts above 60 km/h, we secure all stands with weighted bases and ratchet straps. A structural canopy over the DJ booth is recommended for exposed coastal venues. We have deployed this system in moderate Bura conditions at fortress venues in Split and on Hvar.
Island delivery logistics: The Premium set weighs approximately 180 kg total and requires vehicle ferry transport. We book a ferry slot as soon as the rental is confirmed. On routes with limited departures (such as Split-to-Vis), we arrange day-before delivery, storing equipment securely at the venue overnight. The logistics fee covers all ferry tickets, transport, and storage.
Power infrastructure: This system draws approximately 3,500W at peak, requiring two dedicated 16A circuits. We recommend confirming with the venue that two independent circuits are available. Older estates and fortress locations may have limited capacity — we can specify a 5 kVA diesel generator for the audio system. If the venue also runs extensive lighting and catering equipment, a dedicated audio power feed may be necessary.
Noise regulation compliance: At 136 dB peak capability, this system can exceed local noise limits. Croatian municipalities enforce restrictions after 23:00, and some venues have their own SPL caps. We configure a hard limiter on the mixer output during sound-check. For fortress and heritage venues, we work with venue management to confirm permissible levels.
Upgrade Options
- Add a second RCF SUB 8003 for cardioid sub deployment, reducing bass bleed toward neighbours
- Add Chauvet Freedom Q9 wireless uplights across the venue
- Add Amaran Tube PT4c LED tubes integrated into the DJ booth
- Add a smoke machine for dramatic first-dance or headline-set moments
- Add a Shure GLXD24 wireless microphone for MC and speech duties
Commonly Asked
Do I need a technician for the Estate & Amphitheater System?
We strongly recommend a technician for this set. The 4-deck layout, 6-channel mixer, and high-output RCF system benefit from professional calibration, and having a technician on-site ensures levels stay consistent as the crowd size and energy change through the night. We include technician services as an optional add-on at booking.
Can this set work outdoors in Croatia?
Yes. The RCF 935-A speakers and SUB 8003 are built for outdoor touring. Their FiRPHASE processing compensates for open-air conditions, and the cabinets are constructed for weather resilience. We have deployed this system at exposed fortress venues and beachfront stages in Bura wind conditions. The DJ Blacktable and CDJs should be positioned under a canopy or structure.
What are the power requirements for this set?
230V/50Hz mains power with at least two dedicated 16A circuits (3,600W available per circuit). Total system draw at peak is approximately 3,500W. We supply all power distribution and cabling. If your venue has limited power, we can advise on generator specifications.
How far in advance should I book the Estate & Amphitheater System?
We recommend booking at least 8-12 weeks ahead for peak season events (June through September). We carry a single Premium set configuration, and it is frequently reserved months in advance for large destination weddings and corporate events. Early booking also allows us to secure ferry logistics for island events.
Can I customise the components in this set?
Yes. The set is modular. If you need only two CDJ 3000 decks instead of four, you move to the Prestige Production System configuration. If you want different speakers (for example, the Bose F1 arrays from the Pro set), we can build a hybrid configuration. The DJ Blacktable can also be swapped for a standard DJ table if space is limited, though we recommend the Blacktable for the visual presentation it provides at this event scale.
What happens if equipment fails during the event?
Every component is inspected and tested before delivery. At this level, we recommend having a technician on-site, which provides immediate troubleshooting capability. The CDJ 3000 decks are independent units — if one of the four fails, the DJ continues on the remaining three. The DJM-V10 mixer has six input channels, providing backup routing options. For mainland events, we can dispatch replacement hardware within 60-90 minutes.
Does island delivery cost extra for this set?
Yes. The Premium set’s weight and vehicle transport requirement mean island delivery carries a logistics surcharge covering vehicle ferry tickets, additional travel time, and (where applicable) day-before delivery with overnight storage. The exact amount depends on the island and venue access conditions. We provide a full logistics quote at the time of booking.
Can this system run without a DJ?
Technically, the CDJ 3000 decks support USB playlist playback. However, we do not recommend operating the Premium set without a professional DJ. The 4-deck layout, 6-channel mixer, and high-output PA require active management throughout an event of this scale. Speech transitions, volume management for different event phases, and real-time acoustic adjustment are essential at 500+ guests.
