The DJ Blacktable is our premium oversized booth table, built for four-deck configurations and professional riders. At 1800mm wide, 800mm deep, and 1000mm high, it comfortably holds a full Pioneer CDJ-3000 setup with a DJM-A9 mixer, plus laptop stands and effects units on either side. The all-black finish absorbs stage lighting instead of reflecting it, keeping the focus on the performers and the dance floor. We carry these units in our Split warehouse and deliver them fully assembled to mainland and island venues across Dalmatia. For destination weddings and premium events along the Croatian coast, the Blacktable elevates the DJ booth from a functional necessity into a polished centrepiece of the entertainment area.

How It Works

The DJ Blacktable is an oversized booth platform constructed from heavy-gauge steel framing with premium matte-black panels. At 1800mm wide, it provides 50 percent more surface area than the standard DJ Table, accommodating the full four-deck configuration that professional DJs and headliner acts require. The 800mm depth allows equipment to be set back from the front edge, creating space for cable management, drink placement, and riders without crowding the primary controls. The 1000mm working height is 125mm lower than the standard DJ table, which many professional DJs prefer for extended sets as it positions CDJ jogwheels and mixer faders at a more natural arm angle.

The all-black matte finish serves a practical purpose beyond aesthetics: it absorbs stage lighting rather than reflecting it, preventing unwanted light spill into the audience area and keeping the visual focus on the dance floor and lighting design. Built-in cable management clips route power and audio cables neatly along the underside of the frame, maintaining the clean appearance from all angles. The table does not require mains power itself, but when loaded with a full Pioneer CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 setup, the equipment on top draws significant power, so we recommend connecting through a quality power distribution unit rated for Croatian 230V/50Hz mains.

Ideal For

  • Premium wedding receptions with dedicated DJ or live act booth areas
  • Club-style parties at Croatian villas where the full four-deck rider is specified
  • Corporate gala evenings requiring a polished, professional DJ installation
  • Any event using the DJ Set Pro or DJ Set Premium packages

What’s Included

  • 1x DJ Blacktable (1800mm x 800mm x 1000mm, premium black finish)
  • Assembly hardware and levelling feet
  • Cable management clips for tidy booth wiring
  • Protective transport case for ferry logistics

Pro Tips

  • The 1000mm working height is optimised for standing DJs using CDJ jogwheels. This is 125mm lower than the standard DJ Table, which some DJs prefer for extended sets.
  • At 800mm deep, there is enough surface area to keep a rider sheet, drink, and backup USB drives behind the decks without crowding the mixer.
  • If your venue has limited vehicle access (common at fortress and island locations in Croatia), let us know during booking so we can plan the load-in route.
  • For events running on Croatian mains power (230V/50Hz), all equipment on the table should connect through a single quality power distribution unit. We can supply one on request.

Practical Usage Guide

The Blacktable arrives fully assembled for mainland deliveries or in sections for island transport via ferry. For sectional delivery, assembly takes approximately 15 minutes and follows a straightforward panel-to-frame process using the included hardware. Position the table at the designated booth location before placing any equipment on it. Adjust the levelling feet until the surface is completely stable — this is essential, as CDJ jogwheels and vinyl decks are sensitive to surface movement.

Once level, arrange the equipment centrally: CDJs on the left and right, mixer in the centre, and laptop stands or effects units on the outer edges. Route all power and audio cables through the built-in cable management clips along the underside of the frame, keeping the front and sides of the booth visually clean. Connect all equipment through a single power distribution unit positioned at the rear of the table.

During the event, the primary concern is stability. Avoid leaning on the table edges, and keep guest access to the booth area controlled to prevent accidental bumps. If any levelling foot loosens during the event, retighten it by hand. At the end of the event, power down all equipment, disconnect cables, and remove gear from the table surface before disassembly or collection. Our team handles collection and transport for all mainland and island locations.

Venue Considerations

The Blacktable is designed for premium venues where the DJ booth is a visible focal point. At Croatian wedding venues, this includes villa terraces overlooking the Adriatic, fortress courtyards in Dubrovnik and Split, and restored palace reception halls along the Dalmatian coast. The all-black finish works particularly well in settings with professional lighting design, where Chauvet Freedom Q9 uplighters, Amaran Tube PT4C colour tubes, and beam effects create the visual atmosphere around the booth.

At outdoor venues, the table’s weight and low centre of gravity provide excellent stability on stone terraces and paved surfaces. During Bura wind conditions — which can be sudden and strong along the coast — the table remains stable due to its mass, particularly when loaded with equipment. For exposed hilltop or clifftop positions, consider adding weighted bags inside the base frame as an additional precaution.

Venue access is the most critical logistical consideration. The Blacktable’s 1800mm width means it does not fit through standard doorways without turning. At fortress venues, old town locations, and island sites with narrow streets and stairways, we plan the load-in route during a pre-event site survey. For island venues on Hvar, Brac, and Vis, the table ships in a protective transport case via ferry from our Split warehouse, and our delivery team manages the entire load-in process.

Event Planning Tips

The Blacktable is the recommended booth surface for any event specifying the DJ Set Pro or DJ Set Premium packages, as these include the four-deck CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 configuration that requires the full 1800mm width. When booking, confirm the booth position with your event designer and DJ, as the table’s size means it needs a dedicated space of approximately 2 metres wide by 1.5 metres deep, including rear access for the DJ.

Coordinate with your photographer and lighting designer to ensure the booth area is well-integrated into the event design. The matte-black finish photographs cleanly without hot spots or reflections, making it suitable for venues where the DJ booth will appear in event photography. Add Chauvet Freedom Q9 uplighters around the base or Amaran Tube PT4C tubes behind the booth for a dramatic visual frame.

Book the Blacktable at least three weeks before your event, and earlier for island venues where ferry scheduling and venue access logistics need advance coordination. For peak summer season weddings from June through September, four weeks of lead time is recommended to guarantee availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the DJ Blacktable and the standard DJ Table?

The Blacktable is 1800mm wide compared to the standard DJ Table’s 1203mm, providing enough surface for a full four-deck CDJ setup plus accessories. It is also 125mm lower at 1000mm height, which many professional DJs prefer for jogwheel control. The depth is 800mm versus 605mm, giving more space for cable management and rider items. The premium all-black matte finish absorbs stage lighting rather than reflecting it. The Blacktable is the appropriate choice for any event with a four-deck rider or a headliner DJ who specifies premium booth furniture.

Can the Blacktable be delivered to island venues in Croatia?

Yes. We deliver to all major Croatian islands including Hvar, Brac, Vis, and Korcula. The table ships in a protective transport case via ferry from our Split warehouse. For venues with limited access — narrow streets, stairways, or pedestrian-only zones common at island and fortress locations — we plan the load-in route in advance and our delivery team manages the entire process on-site.

Is the Blacktable stable in outdoor wind conditions?

The table’s heavy construction and low 1000mm height provide inherent stability on outdoor surfaces. When loaded with a full CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 setup, the combined weight further anchors the table. During moderate wind, no additional securing is needed. For exposed coastal positions during strong Bura gusts, weighted bags inside the base frame provide an extra margin of stability. The matte panels are moisture-resistant but should not be left exposed to sustained rain.

Does the Blacktable require power?

The table itself does not require power. However, the DJ equipment placed on it — typically a Pioneer CDJ-3000 pair and DJM-A9 mixer — draws significant power from Croatian 230V/50Hz mains. We recommend connecting all booth equipment through a single quality power distribution unit, which we can supply on request. Confirm power outlet locations at the venue during your site visit, as the DJ booth needs reliable mains access throughout the event.

How far in advance should I book the DJ Blacktable?

We recommend at least three weeks of lead time for mainland venues and four weeks for island locations. During the peak wedding season from June through September, earlier booking is advisable as the Blacktable is in high demand for premium events. Confirm your booking alongside the rest of your DJ equipment package so we can coordinate delivery logistics as a single shipment from our Split warehouse.
