Villa Audio Systems
Multi-zone audio designed for Croatian luxury villas. From poolside terraces to stone-walled dining rooms, every space gets its own sonic personality — controlled from a single device.
Request ConsultationCosmic Production designs and installs multi-zone audio systems for luxury villas across Croatia's Dalmatian coast and islands, specializing in terrace and pool zones, indoor-outdoor audio flow, and smart control via iPad and phone. Operating from Split since 2018, we collaborate with architects and property managers to integrate invisible audio into both new builds and heritage stone renovations. Service areas include Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Brač, Vis, Korčula, and all Dalmatian coastal properties.
Terrace & Pool Zones
The terrace is the heart of a Croatian villa. Whether it overlooks the Adriatic, wraps around an infinity pool, or sits beneath ancient olive trees, it deserves audio that enhances the setting without intruding on it.
- Weather-resistant landscape speakers hidden in garden features
- Flush-mount pergola ceiling speakers for covered terraces
- Pool-area speakers rated IP65+ for water and sun exposure
- Even coverage across large terraces without volume hot-spots

Indoor-Outdoor Flow
Croatian villa living is defined by the movement between inside and outside. Modern villas with retractable glass walls blur the boundary entirely. The audio should follow this flow — music that accompanies guests seamlessly from the living room to the terrace to the pool.
- Overlap zones for open-plan transitions
- Time-of-day automation (morning ambient, evening social)
- Discrete in-ceiling speakers for stone-walled interiors
- Multi-source capability: stream, vinyl, TV audio
Smart Control
Every zone, every source, every volume level — controlled from a single iPad or phone. No wall panels, no remotes to lose, no complexity for guests.
Guest Mode
Simple interface with preset playlists, zone selection, and volume control. Auto-resets between guests. Perfect for rental villas where guests change weekly.
Owner Mode
Full control over zone grouping, source routing, EQ settings, and scheduling. Set volume limits, create custom presets, and monitor system status remotely from anywhere.
Event Mode
When the villa hosts a celebration, switch to event mode: higher volume limits, DJ input routing, and dance floor zone activation. Seamlessly transitions from everyday ambient to party-ready.
Croatian Villa Challenges We Solve
Stone Wall Cable Routing
Traditional Dalmatian stone walls cannot be chased like plasterboard. We survey every property and find routes through existing conduits, behind plaster sections, and under floor transitions. For new builds, we coordinate with builders to pre-wire during construction.
Architect Collaboration
We provide technical drawings compatible with standard architectural plans. Speaker locations, cable routes, amplifier positions, and power provisions are designed to integrate with the architect's vision, not work against it.
Multi-Bedroom Zoning
Luxury villas with 4-8 bedrooms need independent audio in each. Guest bedrooms get simple Bluetooth speakers with physical volume controls. Master suites get full-range ceiling speakers with dedicated source selection.
Island Property Access
Island villas often have limited road access. We plan equipment transport logistics, coordinate ferry schedules, and bring all necessary tools and materials in a single delivery to minimise visits and disruption.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you run cables through traditional Croatian stone walls?
Yes. Stone-walled Dalmatian villas present unique cable routing challenges. We survey the property in advance and identify paths through existing conduits, behind plaster sections, and under floor transitions. Where no hidden path exists, we use surface-mounted micro-channels finished to match the wall colour. We collaborate with architects and builders on renovation projects to integrate cable routes during construction.
How many audio zones does a typical villa need?
Most luxury villas benefit from 3-5 zones: pool terrace, main living area, dining terrace, master bedroom, and entrance/garden. Each zone operates independently — different music, different volume — controlled from a single iPad or phone app. We design the zone layout based on how you actually use the spaces.
Can the system work with my rental management company?
Yes. For villas in the holiday rental market, we configure systems with guest-friendly controls — a simple iPad interface with preset playlists and volume limits. The system can auto-reset between guests, and the property manager maintains admin-level control remotely.
What about outdoor speakers near the pool?
Pool and terrace speakers must be weather-resistant (IP65 or higher) and UV-stable. We use landscape speakers that blend into garden plantings, bollard-mount speakers that integrate with terrace lighting, and flush-mount ceiling speakers for covered pergolas. All outdoor speakers are rated for continuous sun, rain, and salt air exposure.
How does indoor-outdoor audio flow work?
When guests move from the living room to the terrace, the music should follow seamlessly. Our systems can auto-transfer audio between zones based on time of day or manual selection. Open-plan villas with retractable glass walls benefit from overlap zones where indoor and outdoor speakers work together during the transition.
Can you work with our architect during villa renovation?
This is ideal. Integrating audio during renovation means cables are hidden inside walls, speaker locations are planned around furniture layouts, and the system becomes invisible. We provide technical drawings compatible with standard architectural plans and coordinate with electrical contractors on cable pulls and power provisions.
What is the power draw for a full villa audio system?
A typical 4-zone system with modern Class D amplification draws 100-300W under normal listening conditions. This is negligible in a villa electrical budget. We design systems that integrate with existing wiring without requiring additional circuits in most cases.
Do you service island villas?
Yes. We regularly install at villas on Hvar, Brač, Vis, Korčula, and other Dalmatian islands. Island installations require ferry logistics coordination, which we handle. For ongoing service, we schedule annual maintenance visits timed with the start of the rental season.
Can I control the whole system from my phone when I am not at the villa?
Yes. With an internet connection at the villa, you can monitor and control all zones remotely — adjust playlists, set volume limits, check system status, and configure guest presets before arrival.
